And over the last 56 years, the family of Winston Water Cooler has grown and developed into one of the highest-rated wholesale plumbing suppliers and HVAC online suppliers in the Southwest.
But this didn’t all happen by accident. Instead, Winston Water Cooler has been continually working for the past 50 years to become what we have today – the best plumbing supplier for contractors, at-home jobs, and corporations alike.
When Winston Water Cooler was originally established in 1963 in Dallas, the company provided supplies and services for water coolers and purification systems – services that Winston still provides – but we weren’t the wholesale plumbing supply store you know and love today.
Over the years, Winston Water Cooler evolved with the times and expanded into a wholesale distributor focusing on plumbing, pipe valves, and decorative hardware, along with HVAC supplies and equipment. And with the addition of our powerful search tools on our E-commerce site, we’re growing now more than ever.
In 2000 Winston Water Cooler was purchased by Jane Butter. Jane expanded the company, adding locations in Rockwall, Fort Worth, Waco, Brownwood, Jacksonville, Texarkana, Sunnyvale, and Amarillo, Texas. However, today Winston Water Cooler also has locations in Phoenix, Arizona, and Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as Austin, Houston, Mansfield, San Antonio, and Sherman, Texas.
Our expansion and locations now make Winston Water Cooler one of the largest wholesalers in the DFW Metroplex.
Each of our 16 independent branches has a huge inventory of quality plumbing, HVAC, and piping parts. But we didn’t start out with over a dozen stores spanning three states – in fact, as our history shows, we’ve been steadily adding locations to better serve the communities that need our services, supplies, and products ever since we first opened our doors in Dallas. Of course, because we were born in Dallas, we offer more locations in Texas.
In addition to our collection of companies in this tri-state area, we also offer supplementary services and products such as kitchen and bath fixtures for both commercial and residential use, kitchen appliances, decorative hardware, and pre-cut fabrication for clients who prefer to see and touch items before purchasing them from our E-commerce site.
Ever since our beginning days, Winston Water Cooler has wanted to meet the in-person needs of our clients, and with the boom of E-commerce, we added our expansive online wholesale site WWCSupply.com to further serve those in the plumbing and HVAC industries.
